Licensed California locksmith · San Francisco since 2019

Locked out? We're 20 to 30 minutes away.

A licensed locksmith company with its own vans, not a call center that farms the job out. We cut and program keys at the curb, and a person answers in English or Spanish at any hour.

Not urgent? Book a day and a time instead.

Inside the van: the key-cutting machine, the vice and the tool drawers, with the company sign on the bench.

You can check us before you let us near your door

California licenses locksmith companies, and the license is public. Ours is here. Type the number into the State's own search and you will see the same record: the name, the status and the expiry date.

The technician who arrives carries the license in the van, which is what the law requires. Ask to see it.

What customers say

The reviews live on our Google profile, where we cannot edit them and neither can anyone else. That is the point of reading them there.

Why we send you off our own site to read them

Any business can type a glowing quote into its own web page. We would rather you read the real ones, in the place where we have no control over what they say, and where the ones that are not so glowing are sitting right there too.

If we have worked for you, a review helps more than you would think. And if something went wrong, say so there and we will see it.

Where we go

Our base is in San Francisco and most of our work is here. From there we run the length of the Peninsula, over the hill to the coast, down into the South Bay, and north across the bridge into Marin.

In an emergency that is 20 to 30 minutes, wherever you are in that stretch. If it is not urgent, we will hold a day and a time for you instead.

Asked often

Can you make a key if I have lost every one of them?

Yes, for most vehicles and for almost every house. We cut a new key from the lock itself or from the vehicle's code, then program it where the car needs programming. Bring photo identification and something that shows the car or the property is yours.

Can one working fob find or copy a lost one?

A working fob cannot locate a lost one. It can often be used to produce a spare, and on many cars we can also erase the missing fob so it stops working. That second part matters more than the spare if the lost key went missing somewhere public.

How long until someone arrives?

Usually 20 to 30 minutes. If it is not an emergency, we can also book a specific day and time that suits you.

Do you answer at night?

Yes. A person answers, at any hour, in English or Spanish.

Are you licensed?

Yes. California Locksmith Company license 7237, current, issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and valid to 31 January 2028. You can look it up yourself at search.dca.ca.gov. The license travels in the van and the technician will show it.
